Hi, currently, when i want to setup IBL with Vray dome light, i have to take way too many steps to achieve such a simple task.
1, create light
2, switch to dome mode
3, decrease multiplier to 1
4, switch dome mode to full sphere
5, instance my environmnent map into the texture slot
6, hit invisible to hide light
I would suggest to simplify this by allowing portal mode to be used with dome light. It would work as follows:
1, create light
2, switch to dome mode
3, activate skylight portal mode
- Then, multiplier would get frozen and automatically set to 1
- Dome mode would automatically be set to full sphere
- Visibility would get disabled and frozen
- It would automatically take environment map as light source
Thanks in advance.
