  • VrayDistanceTex render context

When working with the awesome vraydistancetex map in the slate material editor it gets quite slow because the map has to render itself very often.
Since the distancetex preview in slate isn't useful anyway it would be nice if the map only gets evaluated when rendering.
Is that even possible? Do maps know in which context they are being evaluated?

    Regards,
    Henning

Yes, the maps know if they are evaluated for the material editor. Will make a note to look into it.

I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
