  • render setting stored in vray history

am using the auto save function in the vray frame buffer history all the time. Its a really simple awesome addition to debug renders.

It would be great if when the vrimg is saved that the render settings for that render were saved also, not sure how, a text file or in the image metadata.
This way if I do ten test renders trying to optimize a render and test ten is slower than lets say test 3 I could somehow double click on test 3 in my vray history and an option to restore render setting to that test image would pop up.
Either that or a text file with the settings for that image.

Would save me having to try and remember every setting I change.

That would be truly awesome. I feel that the whole render history feature could be really made invaluable with more features like this.
      Software:
      Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
      3ds Max 2016 SP4
      V-Ray Adv 3.60.04

      Hardware:
      Intel Core i7-4930K @ 3.40 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (4096MB RAM)
      64GB RAM

Great idea! I have to keep a little notepad open to keep track of stuff like this - but there's always stuff I forget to write down.

Adding this metadata to the Render History would be a HUGE time saver.

This has come up before many times and we'll get to it.

              Best regards,
