  • MultiSubTex in viewport

    Hello

Would it be possible to see MultiSubTex map result in viewport ? or maybe is there already a way that I don't know ?
For example, I've recently discovered that the only way to see a VRay Light material's map in viewport is to switch viewport mode to Consistent color - not sure why ... maybe is there something similar for MultiSubTex ?

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards.

Last time we looked into that, the 3ds Max SDK did not provide a way to visualize the MultiSubTex texture in the viewports.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

      Hi Vlado,

TBH I suspected something like that ... so we should harass Autodesk now

      Thanks.

Make the VRayLight material's color swatch black, then go into the bitmap and tick "Show Shaded Material in Viewport" button in the material editor. No need to switch viewport to consistant colours
