It looks like these demos are in maya. I guess its down to vray and Nvidia to do it. BUT then again Nvidia has Iray so its sort off competition for vray...

If you bring in the animation as Alembic files, or if the various hair plugins (ornatrix, hairfarm, Yeti etc) implement support for it, then we can render it.
