  • Extract mesh from Proxy

    Hi all

It would be nice if I could just right click and select "Extract Mesh from Proxy" on a Proxy. Even if you loose all material info and ID's it's fine.

Sometimes you just need to modify something small and it's a mission if you don't have the original mesh
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

You might find this usefull: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/sc...mesh-converter Ofcourse you need to use this script before you had the mesh converted.

    Or maybe this one: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/proxy-edit

    Haven't tried them yet though.

Pretty sure you can? Just select the proxy and click "import as mesh".
