  • Easy control over VFB from remote desktop software

    Hi.

I often use Teamviewer to take control over render machine to see progress.

So therefor it would be great to have some buttons in the VFB topbar to control ZOOM factor.

and also the ability to pan on the image. So a new button for that also.

2nd this. You can always use the scroll bars to control panning around the image though.

I believe that few zoom presets could be added. Perhaps 1:1 / 1:2 / 1:4 will be enough ?

Sounds good. Think that would be good maybe 1:8 also. For larger images.

            Is a "pan" function possible.?

You could try STRG+LeftMouse to Zoom in and STRG+RightMouse to Zoom out. Works at least with standard remote desktop. Worth a try... but of course no solution for mobile devices.

Agreed. 2 finger drag to zoom is an adventure to say the least!

Anbody else using Teamviewer having troubles with the Vrayframebuffer after a while only showing grey blank image?
Only way to fix this for me is to switch to Scanline and then back to Vray.
Of course I then always have to first save and then reload my render settings, so this is a huge pain in th A***.

I already thought of just writing a script that does just that, so I at least only have to run the script everytime it happens (which is usually quite often)...but for that I´d have to know how to script...

Can you show me a screengrab?

                          Best regards,

I´ll try to remember to make a screengrab next time it happens...but it basically shows the framebuffer with all buttons except for the content window being grey isntead of showing the rendered image. Also when it happens, it always happens right after hitting the renderbutton.
