  • Animated background in VFB background

    Hi,
Not sure if this was requested before, did a quick search but nothing. Wanted to know if it's possible to add a sequenced background to the VFB? Like an ifl for example. So if i had a 80 frame animation on it, and i render frame 30, it shows frame 30 as the background, and so on. Single frame works wonders, i just don't see an option for sequences.

    Thanks

No, we don't have sequence loading yet - will make a note to look into it.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Any chance of getting this sooner rather than later? It is quite useful for VFX work.

      Thanks.

        Hello,

You can use <frameNum> as a tag in the file name now. You'll need the latest version (V-Ray 5 for 3ds Max, update 1.2).

There we go! I thought I had read something about that.

          Thanks so much.
