  • Lock frame buffer to viewport.

Lock the frame buffer to always render a certain viewport regardless of what viewport is highlighted in Max interface.

Can't you already do this? There's a lock icon at the bottom of the render dialog that allows you to lock the view.
    www.dpict3d.com - "That's a very nice rendering, Dave. I think you've improved a great deal." - HAL9000... At least I have one fan.

It's in the render dialog, at the bottom. It's a max feature, not vray

It could be potentially very confusing to have an additional control in the VFB, especially if it contradicts the control in the render settings.

However, we might be able to do something for IPR in case you want to lock a specific view.

              Best regards,
              Vlado

Have never found the lock button, in the render dialog to be buggy. Perhaps it's your version of Max and yes, it's a Max feature... vlado Locking a specific view, whether IPR or not, the button works just fine, the only problem, which is easily corrected, when using IPR, is forgetting to lock the view before hitting render, however, you only have to change the active viewport, then lock it and hit the refresh button, in the viewport. At least that is what I have done in the past.
