  • VRayScatterVolume "Diffuse" or "Tint"

    Hi, first post here!
My name is Victor, I'm a 3d artist from Brazil and I don't know if exactly here the right place to post, but since it's something that I'm really looking forward to have on a next SP I will post it here.

I've been making some studies using the new VRayScatterVolume shader, and it's SO POWERFUL! IMHO it's a perfect solution for skin shaders and it's pretty similar to Maxwell and Corona SSS. Pretty awesome - Thanks Vlado!

But there's something that I really missed during my tests: a texture slot. I'm not looking for scattering textures, but it would be perfect if we at least could "tint" the shader. Right now I'm using some (not usual) turnarounds and photoshop to achieve some tone variation, but isn't a good solution at all since it "kills" the SSS a bit and it's hard to achieve a good level of diffuse detailing... =/

Anyway, here's my tests and I would love to do something with the possibility to tint it whitout losing the amazing SSS aspect! =)

    Thanks in advance!
