  • VFB Background image opacity slider

    Hi all

The background image in the VFB alpha is great!
Would be even better if it had an opacity slider, or maybe layer blend modes...
    Kind Regards,

What would the opacity slider do?

    Best regards,

At 0% you would see whatever background you rendered.
On 100% you would see whatever background file you selected.
On 50% you would see a faded background file over your rendered background
      Kind Regards,
      Morne

Hm, ok Next question: when would you use that?

        Best regards,

For example right now I had a vraysky in the background. The sky was too grey. I overlayed a solid blue as the background and it looked ok. If I could set the opacity to that to maybe 30% or so, the "vraysky" would look much better. Also I can experiment with different bacground and opacities over the vraysky as the image is rendering.

Yes I could do that in post, but during the render could open up a lot more options and save time.

Another option could be if I render a sky HDRI. The clouds may look okish in the render, but would be nice if I could overlay another sky with clouds and play with blending modes during the render to mix the clouds for example
