  • "By Layer" exclusions for Override Mtl

    Hi,

First of all, congratulations for the latest VRay 3.20.02, I really like the new features !
Among them, I especially appreciate the new "Layers" exclusion type added to VRayToon Effect.
I was just wondering if it would be possible to add the same Layer exclusion type for the Override mtl section ?
    It would be very handy.

    Thank you again,
    BOKEH Studio

Yes I have been wanting this for a while, think my request got lost in the mail. Very helpful for near all projects for us.

              Hi Dave,

I had a look at your website: really helpful resources for 3d artists, no doubt !
I installed your Material Override Excluder script but it does not really work the way I would like to. As I don't want to spoil this thread, please have a look on scriptspot's one: http://bit.ly/1JHIj0M
And also: what is the screen capture you provided above ? I didn't see any script called Include/Exclude Pro on your website ... ?

                Cheers will look into that.

Include Exclude Pro isn't ready for release yet, got some more testing to do with it first. It's pretty powerful, designed for Lights but works by accident with VRay Material Override Excludes as well as a few other things.
