  • Loving the latest VRayProxy preview features - take it one step further?

I love the recent addition for better preview settings of VRayProxies!
Any chance we can get a dynamic (or maybe only changable after proxy creation) facecount setting? I imagine it working like the ProOptimizer modifier in max.
Also a facecount percentage setting would be cool because I find myself often converting various objects at once in proxies and they got different polycounts, and if I had a way of saying "facecount for preview = 25% of basemesh" it would be really cool. Just some thoughts...
    Software:
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
    3ds Max 2016 SP4
    V-Ray Adv 3.60.04

    Hardware:
    Intel Core i7-4930K @ 3.40 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (4096MB RAM)
    64GB RAM

I am not sure about dynamic facecount, but percentage will be really useful !

I think the next set will be LODs, I wrote to Vlado recently talking about different LOD modes that could be created automatically.

No, unfortunately we can't do that easily.

This is already done for the next service pack - there's a percentage, plus min and max setting.

        Best regards,
