  • Reordering of VFB history images

It would be cool if you allowed reordering of VFB history elements (I know you can change the vrimg name to reflect another date but its kind of a hacky and non-smooth way of doing it).
    Software:
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
    3ds Max 2016 SP4
    V-Ray Adv 3.60.04

    Hardware:
    Intel Core i7-4930K @ 3.40 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (4096MB RAM)
    64GB RAM

Yes, it's somewhere on the "to do" list, as someone requested it before.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to do that, in general?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

The use case I have just now is that I started project 1 and did some test rendeirngs, then another project came in between and is on hold now again, which is why I started working on project 1 now again but still need to have toe hsitory of the project 2 readily available for later.
I would want to drag and drop the history of project 2 down and have all my project 1 history images together and not interrupted by images of other projects.
I don't need fancy sorting or anything, just the ability to reorder images by drag+drop.

We also have a request to store the history in the 3ds Max project folder. Would this work for your purposes as well?

        Best regards,
        Vlado

No, that would not work; honestly I think the majority of 3ds max users don't use the project folder functionality in 3ds max at all. Could be wrong, but I don't know anyone using it.
