    Would be handy for me right now, any chance to make this happen?
    Software:
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
    3ds Max 2016 SP4
    V-Ray Adv 3.60.04


    Hardware:
    Intel Core i7-4930K @ 3.40 GHz
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (4096MB RAM)
    64GB RAM

    It has been requested before; there are some complications when the "excluded" material is part of a Multi/Subobject, VRayBlendMtl etc materials which I'm not sure how to resolve.

      I see.
      For starters I think it would be cool to have it as a basic verison, like taking the whole MultiSub then, or the Whole VRayBlendMtl. Like, the material assigned to the mesh for starters.
      Is this difficult to program? I think having this basic version should not be that big of a hassle right? I understand there is some complexity involved as you stated for the "refined" version then.
