  • Vray displacement camera visibility area

    Would it be possible to implement something similar to forest pro objects in camera visibility area with an expand percentage option ? Generally I don't need to worry about displacement outside the camera view. Something like this would reduce displacement calc times and reduce render times overall.

    An example of the forest camera option:

      i think unless you choose "static geometry" in the displacement options, it already only calculates the displacement where its needed (f.e. where a direct or indirect ray hits it)
