We're currently testing the Oculus and third party applications that allow use to view and walk through the models we currently have in Revit and SketchUp. IrisVR Prospest is one of them, but my wishlist item is the ability to view Vray RT window through the Oculus. Any chance of this ever happening?

I can't say really, I like that with the Vive you can move around in a larger space, but if you are going to mostly sit at a desk, I guess the Oculus might be better... Don't take my word for it though.

Right!
Bare with me for just a sec : imagine a world, where a certain render engine starting with V, would be able to render a light field. Once that light-field would be rendered, we would be able to navigate inside it with the quality we would traditionally expect from a offline renderer. In that world, would you think the Vive would be a good choice?
And "completely unrelated", would you think that that wold would be totally unconceivable?

A friend of mine has a Vive, and there are some demos that makes me feel not being able to move around would kill half of the experience. There is an IKEA demo where I can walk around in the kitchen, and a Mount Everest demo where I can walk around the summit and see how it can be approached from different angles. I want to be able to do that with a house design.
