I have been interchanging some private messages with tom schuelke (one of 'top' vray users here) speaking about his impresive realtime models.
I asked him how he could bake that textures so good and his only solution was not uses vray, instead he uses max radiosity.
I know that if you put a single sphere and a box you can bake it without problems but in a complex scene it don't works: artifacts, bugs, corner overlaps....
Seems that the texturebaking isnt the highest point on vlados to do list, but i'm sure that if vray team work on it i would be so much better to max "render to texture".
Anyone knows if this tool will be improved in the future? Other alternative to radiosity?
Thanks!!!
