    I wish that in V-Ray for 3ds max every map input had a corresponding amount slider. For example, your making a metal and you set the reflection to a grunge map - but now there is no way to control the overall amount. Adding and amount sliders would help break apart map inputs from thair contrebution amount.

    In the maps rollout there's a percentage spinner. If you set the reflection colour to black this spinner will act as an amount control.

    When you set the percentage to 100% you get the full map, when you set it to 0% you get the colour you set under Basic Parameters in the material.
