  • Save render time with .vrimg?

    Hi,

    I did the following:

Start render on PC A, cancelled after some time, saved vrimg on network.
Load vrimg in VFB of PC B and resaved it there. It says "0h, 0m, 0,0s".

I know it is a rather exotic scenario but can we have it that somehow the rendertime gets saved with the vrimg? Or does it already but it doesn't get loaded properly?

    I hope I was clear ^^

The render time is saved in the .vrimg file, but we don't do anything with it when loading the file. Will make a note to look into it.

Out of curiosity, why do you need to resave the file? I mean it's already there in .vrimg format, isn't it?

    Best regards,

I just loaded it into VFB instead of copying it over to my VFB history folder and renaming it - it was just more convenient in my case there. Didn't think too much about it.

Ok, I see. Yes, it would be good to preserve that extra information when loading .vrimg/.exr files.

        Best regards,
        Vlado
