I'm not sure whether this is the correct term or not but many times I need to see a keyed foreground plate in the shot with the cg environment I'm working on. My current method is to put a non renderable plane parented to the camera with the foreground plate texture mapped to it. this works ok but if I change the fov of the camera i have to scale or move the plane to compensate. I'd like to have a parameter in the vray camera that would allow me to drop the foreground plate directly into the camera.
Related to that it would be also beneficial to have a camera based render mask. I quite often generate one environment scene with multiple cameras in it that could all use unique render masks to trim out areas of the render that are just going to be covered with the foreground plate anyway.
Thanks,
