better/faster caustics

Hello,

I work a lot for the cosmetics industry, and it would be nice to have faster/better/easier caustics setups and render speeds to add more realism on close objects

At the moment it's still a lot of try and error to get good results, and speed isn't that great...

(never tried caustics in animation, does it work?)

Yes, caustics could definitely use some improvement... no idea yet how this can be done, but it doesn't hurt to think about it
