As a number of people have noticed, the new VRayMtl (1.45.70) produces some very different results when compared to the previous version (1.45.20 / 1.09.03n)
I'm sure I'm not alone in that I often have to load up old scenes to make slight changes to & re-render them. If I have to change every single material to get the same results as before, it will take me weeks!
I would like to request that two versions of the material be included in VRay - the original version (sans fake highlights) and the new one (with fake highlights). Maybe even give them more descriptive name too - like VRayMtl Real & VRayMtl Fake
