With all due respect Steve, you dont expect Chaosgroup to work for free do you? Especially when asking about another major releasebeing free??? Come one
Hi Martin, sorry for my miss communication and with respect to you, I believe you have read assumptions into my post. Frankly your reply to me is disturbing and frustrating. You don't even know me.
I didn't want to have to explain in my question that I want to know a rough time line so I can be financially prepared to upgrade and yes I didn't know if it would be free or not. None of what I said demanded or requested that anything be free. I purchased my licence of V-Ray and I will pay what is required for upgrades in the future. I have worked for free in the past and I wouldn't wish that on anyone because its horrible. I'm also considering purchasing Phoenix FD 3.0 if it can do certain things. So in explaining that which I really didn't want to explain, I hope you can see that I'm not another self entitled brad that demands the impossible.
You made me feel stupid for not knowing if Vray 4 will be free upgrade - I didn't know so I asked. I shouldn't have to be made to feel stupid or demanding.
With dignity and respect to you, please try not to read into things what you assume, rather try to read what is being said independent of presumptions.
I have asked for product features in the threads for example a proper PBR render option for 3ds max, which I don't think is me being demanding or presumptuous or rude or self entitled.
If I'm totally mistaken and my post was rude and offended Vlado then I apologies. I tried to make the question a brief as possible.
