  • Multiple region render rectangles

    Hi again everyone.

I wish that when doing an IPR that I could select "region render" from the V-Ray frame buffer and create more than 1 area to have update. For example 3 regions or squares that the IPR works on.

    Thank you.

It is very likely that we will not be doing this, but you can use the render mask to select objects or regions you want to render, the regular render region in the VFB, or the "follow mouse" button in the VFB.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

May I ask the reason you're likely not to do this? Not enough demand? Too difficult to code in relation to the gain? Pure interest, no salt
        Software:
        Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
        3ds Max 2016 SP4

This works very well in Corona. Just saying. I prefer Vray but Corona's frame buffer is outstanding.

I'd really second the multi region render, it's been requested for a long time and that's exactly why Dave did a script for it, but it doesn't cut it, it's just not the same as having that natively supported by the renderer.
