This needs to be aligned to the fastsss2 material where the value is always in cm regardless of your chosen system units. (The idea is to enable the exact same material to be used in scenes with different scales and still produce a realistic result without further adjustments. If it does need to be adjusted, then the scale parameter is the correct one to use).

The radius parameter for VRayFastSSS2 is always in cm and is converted to the correct value internally as needed. I will make a note to show this in the UI. The alSurface one should be displayed with display units indeed. Although it will or will not be correct, depending on the sss density scale parameter.

    Best regards,

I always thought that 3ds Max does unit conversion in scenes of different system units size (when you merge/xref). So these would be converted correctly, if the spinner boxes are correctly specified as distance unit values, wouldn't they?

I sometimes have that feeling when using the directionality parameter. It goes from 0-1, which is quite odd. Can it be translated into a hotspot radius, similar to the standard spotlight?

          Hi,

any news on this? The workflow of the features is as important as the presence of the features themselves.
