Nope, we don't plan to do this. We do not have a reliable way to sync the 3ds Max scene between the client machine and the render servers.

OK fair enough. I have another question if you dont mind. Its probably just a quirk at my end so not starting a new thread yet. I have been able to see IPR working on my system - but i am now trying it on a new scene i have been working on with production renderer. Every time i try to start IPR, nothing happens. Well, at best nothing happens. At worst it crashes Max. There are no visible error messages. The only message i see in the VFB is "Preparing Tone OPerator". Thats all.

Do you have shift or tilt applied to your camera? There were was a bug in that case that we fixed for the 3.50.04 release. For the moment hiding the camera will fix it. Also make sure the macro recorder is turned off.

For the moment just hide the camera and it should be fine. We should be releasing 3.50.04 in a day or two.
