  • Save presets for RT ?

Each time I open RT as my Production Renderer, I have to keep setting Engine type to GPU, Low GPU thread Priority etc etc.

Can I not save these to be as my preferred defaults ?

You can save your settings.... The tab above 'renderer' (where you choose the renderer) is called 'Preset'.... click on the little down arrow and at the bottom you will see 'save preset' and 'load preset'.... use these.

I edited my "maxstart.max" file and configured all my settings there. That being said, I've never used the Max "Preset" function of the Render Setup window. That actually worked! Thanks for suggesting it jironomo! I just saved a preset to use RT for Production and ActiveShade, and saved another preset with the default V-Ray (Adv) settings.
