I think this has been requested before. But man, I would love a killer Vray Gradient texture. Max's own is just so old and weak. I would like a resizable or scrollable or zoomable interface so you can create very precise controls when flags are close together.
Basically every thing Chaos does is better than Max so I'm sure they could create something much better.
Yes, Bercon Gradient is a good option -- but I seem to remember seeing a few bugs over the years, and just have been nervous to include another plugin when I can avoid it. I'm also concerned it will be discontinued -- development has stopped if I'm not mistaken.
For that matter -- a Vray Tile would be great too... something along the lines of Bercon Tile...
I realize these are skewing away from the Renderer focus. But you've created some great textures (Dist tex, Dirt, Edges, Triplanar, etc) so I'd love to see more.
