  • Incorporate stereoscopic helper into render settings

    Hey guys,

Over the past couple of weeks I've come across a recurring workflow problem...

I am often creating scenes that require a 360 stereoscopic view (or several) and multiple standard camera shots. Obviously to create a stereo view you need the stereoscopic helper in the scene - however this is an issue when taking the normal still shots as it doubles the image (left/right eye).

This is a real pain and would be a lot easier to manage (via batch render etc) if the option for stereo could be switched on/off via the render settings, and then saved/loaded as a render preset.

    Many thanks,

    Chris

Even better would be to have this in the camera itself imo

Or that, whichever expedites the process really. The only reason I didn't ask for it in the camera is that it's now under Autodesks control, is it not?

It's been on the "to do" list for a while; will get to it.
