  • some shaders

maybe some mentalray like shaders (glare,ocean....) i was wondering why doesn't vray have such feature.also it needs more material types like in brazil and final render (by final shaders)

A more intuitive SSS and maybe a dirt shader are definately on my wishlist, but at a pretty low priority as in regards to other more serious issues that need fixing before 1.5 is released.

I vote for that too, shaders and preset materials would be really nice to have, after 1.5 is out of course.

This has all been asked for along time ago. And I believe 1.5 will include some shaders.

Thats the frensel falloff ... not refraction

.2 is closer to silver not chrome, but in the end it is what looks good. I like 10-20 for chrome.

yes I use roughly 10-20 for chrome as well.

                              hi guys

is it necessary to set the reflection max depth to 20?
i mean, how many reflections do you see in the chrome-globe?
does it look diffrent when set to...maybe...2?
how are the rendertimes compared to each other?
don't have the time to test it myself, sorry.
