  • SETTING's DATA in the VRay MESSEGE BOX

    Hi, CHAOS....
    I am having this UNCONFORTABILITY...
A lot of times, during TESTING the RENDERING - LIGHTS, etc...
I lower the settings of almost everything, so that to keep the
    RENDER time - FAST...

And when Done, and hit the FINAL render...I start DOUBTing
    myself...
    #1 Did I switch the AA - from 1 to Adaptive... ?
    #2 Did I set a HIGHER GI - ?
#3 Did I set the IR samples - OK ?
#4 Did I switch the QMC back - to normal... ?
#5 Did I set the ANTI-A Filter, as a like it

    and so on...
    You know what I mean....

Sometimes, after rendering for couples of hours, I discover, for instance
    #1 I left the REFLECTIONS with DEPTH 2 - CHECKED... F...K
#2 I am still with AA - set on 1 - not at the Adaptive for example...
    #3 And so on...

    My IDEA is:...
In the VRay SYSTEM - Panel, to be there a CHECK BOX, wheter the
Settings to be PRINTED first in the MESSEGE Box, just before the
    redering process STARTS...
    Something like:

    VRay MESSAGE BOX
    ________________
    AA: adaptive 0/3
    AA-Filter: ...
    GI:
    First: IR :: Secondary: LIGHTMAP
    IR: 0/3
    HshpS: 50
    Int: 20

    Lightmap:
    Samples: 1000
bla bla - ON, OFF (checked, unchecked)

    Environment:
    .... ON
    ... off
    ... off

    QMC:
    Samples: 15
    ....
    ....

    Color Mapping:
    EXPO: ....
    Light: ...
    Bright: ...

    etc
    etc
    etc
    ______________________________

and here to follow the RENDERER INFORMATION....

And WHEN I Start DOUBTING, I can just go through the SCROLL list,
and see whether it is necessary to CANCEL my RENDER or to leave it...

OF COURSE, one will DECIDE on his own CHECKING/UNCHECKING
wheter to have that INFO in the VRay MESSAGE BOX, or not...

I think that is ABSOLUTELY a piece of CAKE.... especially
    for VLADO or PETER...

For ME, this would be really helpful... having on mind -
    MY ABSENT-MINDNESS and
the FACT, that while RENDERING - You can move arounf only in the MESSAGE Box, CANNOT go throught the SETTINGs PANELS

why not have one set of setting in production renderer and another set of settings in draft renderer.
