This week i've lost about 200 hours rendering time because of windows update automatically restarting computers.
I know this is more of a max/viz problem, but is there a way of keeping the servers rendering if the manager machine restarts?
ok ive just figured out a solution...make the manager a service so it automatically restarts if there is a crash. der
pointless post other than these lessons:
1. disable auto windows update.
2. run manager as a service incase of blackouts/ restarts over the weekend so that it will automatically restart.
I havnt tried DR yet but will this remove the need to use backburner?
