Hello
It would be great to have in Vray:
- Near the fantastic new Glossy effects controller in the 3DSMax Render panel, a new field to control the maximum Subdivs for all the material's glossy effects of the scene (like the “Max Depth” for Reflexion/refraction).
It could be great for tweaking lights or GI parameters when you have a big scene with glossy effects everywhere.
- Second: it could be great if the layer manager in the Vray Frame Buffer could work.
I think the best way to compare two renders (or more) would be to keep both renders in a buffer with a keyboard key to switch them (like arrows or PageUp and Down).
You can see this functionality in Newtek Lightwave.
I can’t stand doing clones of my renders; it’s absolutely uncomfortable to compare two renders with very small differences between them. (like a noise or something like that).
Moreover if the VFB could display a correct RGB Z-buffer and if it could save images without corrupting them it would be perfect.
I hope these functionalities could be done.
Thanks for your great job.
