  • vrayproxy - animate only at rendertime

ive got some animated proxies in my scene, and they kill the framerate when animating, ( 1 frame every few seconds instead of buttery smooth)

in this case (and many i can think of) it would be good to have a checkbox "only animate at rendertime" so we get static meshes for viewport performance..

Which V-Ray version? We have added some caching of the viewport previews for V-Ray 3.6 in order to make exactly this situation faster.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

its the latest 3.6.. model is quite low poly, but i have "show whole mesh" ticked, and then a turbosmooth on top. saves hard drive space.. tbh though even without modifiers on top it still runs at only 2-3 seconds a frame.
