  • VrayRT - please allow us to turn off elements

Currently when using vrayRT it will keep switching to effect result which is VERY annoying! Please add a checkbox to be able to disable elements from RT.

I also get max freezes when using denoiser quite frequently. I have to force quit max as it just sits there with 0% cpu usage!
    Regards

Yes I realise you can do that but it would be good to have a checkbox in the vrayRT dialogue so I don't have to swtich to the produciton render dialogue.

This is the VrayRT dialog. You don't have to switch, the elements tab appears in both

If I've missed that then I need a slap ! I'm running 3.5 so not sure if it is a 3.6 feature. Maybe I just missed it.

If you don't want to RT to switch to effect results channel - you can change the Post effects rate (https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/VRAY3MAX/System). Setting it to lower value means the effects result will show less often. If you set it to 0 - effects will be calculated only at the end of the render.

As for the freezes - we also noticed them and the problem should be fixed for future releases.

            Best regards,
