  • Vray Next: Physical Camera

I'm glad the vray physical camera is back but is it possible to add these two things:

    - Exposure Value (like the physical camera has)
    - Make near and far clipping indipendent from eachother.

    Thank you!
    A.

Yes, I've been thinking about an EV value myself, so it's probably coming at some point.

For the near/far clipping you mean separate checkboxes to enable/disable them?

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

Great! For the near/far clipping, seperate checkboxes would be great indeed.

Would it be possible to implement some sort of Pannini Projection into the camera as well? http://tksharpless.net/vedutismo/Pannini/

A circular polarizing filter effect would be amazing.

Any news on this? I looked in the courseware section, which describes setting an EV and then being able to adjust shutter and aperture with Vray automatically compensating ISO, but this functionality is lost in Next, right?

I assume the recommended workflow in Next is to use the VrayphysicalCamera?

I don't understand the purpose of the Exposure button so maybe I'm missing something. With it enabled the exposure is controlled by the photographic values of the camera, but what controls the exposure when it is disabled?
