  • More Vray Clipper functionality - Add/clip based on triplanar mapping - Affect surface and/or volume

Would be super cool to see more functionality in Vray Clipper to not only subtract mesh but to also create it, based on triplanar mapping (rather than just geometry), and also controlling whether it creates/clips from surface only or the entire volume of object.

Could do some cool stuff like:

-Creating sediments, irregularities, cracks etc in translucent/sss objects, but with real geometry.
-Adding/clipping OR BOTH from surfaces (maybe even as an alternative to displacement in some cases) by having options like: "Affect only surface" or "volume" to let mesh be added/clipped inside.
-Control things like max clipping/adding distance from surface
-Working with maps could be faster and easier than with geometry, and could allow to be more creative.

    Did some quick examples here:

    Thanks Chaosgroup.

Thanks, it's an interesting suggestion. Will think about it.
