Hi guys
[Problem]
I am trying to make a scene where I can drop any object in and quickly bake masks for use in Mari. A lot of great Masks can be quickly generated with the V-Ray Dirt but I find it hard to produce a strong looking map. Its always too soft. I want more control over the power of the blacks and whites
[Work Around]
1. Plug in a V-Ray color and pump the rgb output to push for values more that 1.
2. Use an output map and use the curve to add more contrast
[Suggestion]
I dont want to have to do the above work around - a better fix would be to add a power slider to the dirt to strengthen the map.
