  • GPU engine uses always progressive image sampler?

    If you set GPU as renderengine, the image sampler shows both Bucket and Progressive mode but if you choose Bucket mode it still renders as progressive.
    As on 3dsmax I use always CPU, I'm not sure if bucket mode is actually available for GPU rendering.
    If not, I think it's better to grey out the bucket mode option when GPU is choosen.

    Bucket mode is available for V-Ray GPU, but progressive is superior in GPU memory usage and speed. You should always use progressive image sampler with V-Ray GPU
    Different to the standard V-Ray renderer, which works well with buckets
    This could be just a bug in the UI, wait for the team to confirm
