  • Create VrayProxy: how to?

    Hi,
I'd like to create VrayProxy for testing purpose but I can't fond the "Create Proxy" button as documentation explains.
Documentation says "In Blender this is done through the V-Ray options in the Object Data tab. To do that you need to select the object you want to export, adjust the settings and click Create Proxy."
This is what I see in the "Object Data tab"

I can't see any Vray options

It looks like you are in the "Data" tab and not the "Object" tab. If you go to the Object tab there are some V-Ray items (I expanded them all in the snapshot below), but I don't see the option to create a proxy.

So, it's not just me...it seems that is missing the way to create a proxy file.

This feature is currently not functional (we hid it from the interface for that reason). For now, you can only import pre-created .vrmesh files. We are actively working on it, and the feature will be available in one of the upcoming updates. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I will talk with the documentation team to hide it until it is done.
