  • Animation Rendering Issue – All Frames Render as the First Frame

    Hi,
I'm having trouble rendering an animation in Blender. I've double-checked all the settings, but I can't seem to get it to render properly. Every frame renders exactly like the first one — there's no change between frames.

I'm attaching the scene file for reference.
Could you please help me figure out what I might be missing?

    Thank you!

Hi, and thank you for your report!

It looks like there's a bug affecting armature rendering in animation sequences. Single frame mode should work correctly, though I understand that may not be ideal for your needs.

The good news is that we've logged this issue in our bug tracking system with high priority, meaning it will be addressed ahead of other tasks. I'll make sure to update you when the fix is ready.

    Best regards, Milva

Good to know that the issue has been identified and prioritized.

I’ll be waiting for any updates. In the meantime, if there’s any temporary workaround available (other than rendering frame-by-frame), I’d appreciate any suggestions.

Also, do you happen to have an approximate timeline for when the fix might be released?

At this time, we can’t commit to a specific release date. However, I can suggest a workaround—set the render mode to single frame and run the script available here: https://blender.stackexchange.com/qu...imation-in-2-8. I’ve tested it, and it appears to work well for this issue.
