    FastSSS

    Working Blender controls on SSS panel:
    Scale, Radius R, Radius G, Radius B, Scattering color, IOR

    Scale: Values below 1.0 will make the object look as if it is bigger. Values above 1.0 will make it look as if it is smaller.
    I found that 0.1 makes it render black. May be a bug.

    Scatter radius: It is set by Radius R, Radius G, Radius B and is measured in centimeters.

    Subdivs: Set by reflection glossy subdivs.

        Andreymi, how you can work harded ?

        Well, I have a anim in 200 frames, well perfect, and blender no crash...

        Do you can make the render in this format ? render0001,render0002,render0003 .
        In render-1, render10, render-11, render-2, the order of number is a compromise for manipulating in sequence... THk man !

          Great !!!
          By the way, as soon as I activate the SSS, the model is exclusively rendered with the color defined in the SSS parms.
          Is there a way to keep the diffuse map for my tiny frogs ?

            enricocerica, you can share you blend file, i test sss and chash vray.

            Error: Unhandle exception ; Rendering; last marker is at line 0, file "null".

            What happened?

              Are you usinig the VRay demo version, if so I think it doen't work with that package.
              If no, have you downloaded the last beta VRay version ?

                  I had a similar problem with the demo version, as you can see it is dated 03 oct which is much older than the beta one (16 dec).

                    Enrico,
                    FastSSS and reflection don' work together. To use SSS and reflection we have to use VrayBlendMtl. Here are a text from spot3d.com:
                    VRayFastSSS does not include diffuse and glossy effects. To add these, create a VRayBlendMtl material with VRayFastSSS as a base material and a VRayMtl as a coat material.
                    And I guess the script doesn't support this yet, so, if I'm right, your frog material will need to wait, if you want this two together.

                            Yes, that's what I did with the Yafaray image, I mixed it with a blender internal SSS rendering, but I hoped to avoid that with VRay.

                              Reflection glossy subdivs are used as SSS subdivs.
