  • Back to coding

    Hey there!
Sorry, I was very busy last months - now back coding vb25.
Will try to read/answer/fix/code-new-stuff as soon as possible =)

    Re: Back to coding

No problem, the exporter behaved very reliable while you were "away". I treat it simply as stable, production ready for my architectural works (on 2.59.4).
... one thing I miss is mapping textures to control fog... and... maybe further development of node and layered materials....

    Thanks very much!!

      Re: Back to coding

Good to know that yout are back. Welcome!

I agree with voytov exporter is very stable and I've been using it for weeks without serious issues.

      I'm missing some things:
      - a way to exclude objects or materials from a vray dirty pass.

      - make fake beveled edges in vray.
Using vray_edgetex in the bump channel gives in error in the exporter. As described in the forum here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=637&p=3805&hilit=edges&sid=e2f 984e5d5abd0340b3b67b809d022ea#p3805

      - and further development of node materials

      Thanks!

          Great news,
Indeed VB25 proved very stable all this time
(also i last compiled Blender svn + patch few days ago , and all still works fine afaik..)
