V-ray crash when plugging fog gizmo into effects container

This yields an instant crash for me (Win 10 Enterprise x64, 1703 updated through August 2018 cumulative). Vray blender nightly build a7377e5:

Granted, there is supposed to be a fog node between the gizmo and the effects container, but user error is always a factor.

New session.
Add world node
Add Effects Container to the world node graph. Connect it to the effects input on the environment node.
Add Fog Gizmo.
Connect fog gizmo to the effect 1 input on the container.

On the terminal, I see :

You can also use only Fog node without gizmo node and object select node, its full scene fog with Height parameter.
