Assigning a path to the output in vb25 causes V-Ray to stop rendering. I had the same problem in 2.49. It's like V-Ray cannot understand spaces in the path or anything. There's always difficulties with the paths. In console i read "path doesn't exist, trying to create" then V-Ray cannot create the directory.

Any mac users have a solution ?

      Re: mac paths

      /Volumes/Untitled RAID Set 1/3D/cool renders/coolrender01/

when i select that folder it shows up as //coolrender01/ in the output and no rendering. I can also type the complete path in the output, still no rendering. In console i get "error parsing command line" after "VRay/Blender : writing scene done"

Now when i enter some paths without spaces (i.e. /Volumes/Data2/), vb25 does render.

Andrey, i think this might be a Blender thing.

Also i get corrupt pngs (jpg renders right). It says in Console : "libpng error: zlib error"

        Re: mac paths

Vray doesn't like spaces in file paths. I'm pretty sure it's a Vray issue, it has always bugged me, however I've gotten into the habit of eliminating spaces from my file naming (using _ or - instead).

No, but Vray still gives me shit for using spaces in filepaths on Windows 7 too.

              Re: mac paths

              1. If you get broken png file - dont touch the compresion button (stay at 90%)
              2. If You cant render it can be also a relative/absolute paths problem

right now working for me paths:
              If output folder is in:
              MacintoshHD/Renders/
then Output path looks like that:
              /Renders/

Im on IRC - if You have some basic questions for mac version.

                Re: mac paths

Thanks FB3000, i'm on IRC too. The paths i solved by saving to a drive that doesn't have spaces in its name.
And you just solved the png problem. Thanks.

                  Re: mac paths

btw. As far I know png can't be compresed so this compresion button can be deleted or greyed out
