  • Can I prevent aborting vray render from Blender (esc/ctrl-z)

A great advantage of vray/Blender is the ability to continue working in Blender while rendering.

However, when hitting escape or ctrl-z while modelling in Blender I quit the render.. Is there a way to prevent this?

I guess its new "render api" feature... i'll try to find a workaround.

I can hit ctrl+z without quitting the render, but the escape key is certainly annoying. Since it's the cancel command for 'g' move or other such things, but it also cancels the render. Grrrr.

I looked in the key mappings, but there isn't an option for it. The function is "Stop this job" according to the tooltip on the X. However in keyboard mappings there is only 'cancel render view' which doesn't affect the above.
