Vray edge material no hidden line

For years I have hoped for a hidden line render option; vray has such an option but although I uncheck hidden edges option it shows subdivisions:

Is there a way to diplay outlines only such as the Blender model window, see below:

This will be possible only in bmesh and if it will have suitable features.

Btw, you could try V-Ray Toon in new exporter.

I see you have added vray textures, but where do I find these toon settings? (build 35721)

I enabled toon effects in world settings as well as outline in material settings but I see no difference, am I overlooking something?

Rchv, check log - may be your V-Ray build doesn't support toon yet.

I have Vray 1.5, is toon in 2.0?

Rchv, may be its in some 1.5 builds, check log - its it complains about smth like "unable to blabla VRayToon" then you version doesn't support it...

It works! 1.5 complained so I upgraded to Vray 2.0 (as a beta tester). The outline function can be activated either via material (outline) or World settings (effects). PS Switching off the hide inner edges option makes it show all edges but not subdivisions/faces etc. [attachment=0:chtuqcgm]1.jpg[/attachment:chtuqcgm]
