  • are vb25 materials, lights, etc. pure VRay materials, lights

As I am new to VRay I am going through many tutorials and the docs on the spot3d.com site. They all talk about using native VRay materials, lights, textures, etc. whenever possible instead the 3dsMax/Maya ones. Are there such issues with the V-Ray/Blender exporter? In other words are all the materials, lights, etc. implemented as native VRay ones? If no which are the exceptions?

Are there plans to implement the VRay native textures (dirt, fresnell, etc.) in the exporter script?

No. Everything is translated into native V-Ray stuff.

Already done =) Use custom build and set texture type to V-Ray.
