  • Refraction Glossiness Texturing not working?

Hi, I'm trying to map a texture to the refraction glossiness channel, but it seems not working(looking at the exporter output the texture it's created in the scene_texture.vrscene but not used in the scene_material.vrscene)
    It's a bug or I'm missing something?
    Thanks
    Bye
    EDIT:
With node and blending 2 materials with different glossiness value for refraction it seems working, but it's more slow as you have to compute 2 full materials.

Could you attach a test scene?

Re: Refraction Glossiness Texturing not working?

Hi Bdancer, here is a simple blend file.

      http://www.mixolydian.biz/MyFiles/RefractGlossiness.zip

This is what I try to obtain(I modified by hand the scene_material.vrscene putting a "refract_glossiness= TEXTURENAME:ut_intensity;"

The gray part of the sphere it's not opaque but trasparent with glossines 0(basically I have a radial texture which control the amount of refract glossiness based on luminance)

This is the raw output from the exporter, the glossiness result is 1 everywhere even if in the ui the texture seems assigned correctly.

As you see,the texture it's not assigned to the refract_glossiness parameter(looking at the exporter output infact it gives simply refract glossiness 1.

      Thanks you very much
